The FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT promo hasn't launched yet, but players are reporting that they've been gifted a free Fantasy FUT Christian Eriksen player item.
EA Sports has already confirmed that the brand new FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT promo would be launching on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 18:00 PM GMT, with the new promo teased via a FIFA 22 Ultimate Team loading screen on Wednesday, which was followed up by another teaser on Thursday. However, FIFA 22 players are reporting on Friday morning that they've been gifted a free 90-rated Fantasy FUT Christian Eriksen player item, with this item mysteriously appearing in their FUT 22 clubs.

Eriksen, who was originally given a rare gold 82-rated Inter player item at the start of FUT 22, was recently given another FUT 22 item playing for Brentford, following him signing for the Premier League side in January. Eriksen's Brentford FUT 22 player item was added to FIFA 22 on March 2, 2022.
Ahead of the launch of the FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT promo, there has been many social media users who claim to have leaked player items that would be released during the campaign. FIFA 22 twitter user @FutSheriff claimed that Eriksen would be released as an SBC reward during the brand new promo.
And it appears that EA has morphed every Eriksen Brentford FUT 22 player item, even those sitting dormant and unused in FUT 22 clubs all over the world, into Eriksen's new 90-rated Fantasy FUT player item, that has yet to be officially released. In fact, this item has been released into FIFA 22 before the official launch of the entire Fantasy FUT promo itself. Some of these player items also seem to be tradeable, depending on if players had a tradable version of Eriksen's rare gold 82-rated Brentford item.
FIFA 22 players are reporting that they've seen Eriksen's new 90-rated Fantasy FUT player item appear in their FUT 22 clubs, on the transfer market, in their discard recovery tab and even in packs and Player Picks too. EA has not communicated that players would be receiving this free FUT 22 item, so it appears to be a mistake by the company ahead of the new promo being released. EA has yet to officially acknowledge their error, but Mirror Football has contacted EA Sports for clarification.
This mistake is the latest of many mistakes made by EA Sports in just the last week. On Friday, March 11, 2022, EA released a selection of Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) into FIFA 22 Ultimate Team where players could redeem their FUT Birthday Tokens earned during the duration of the FUT Birthday promo in exchange for rewards. Of the nine themed SBCs released, the FUT Birthday Team 1 Pack, the FUT Birthday Team 1 Player Pick and the 6x 83-90 Players Pack, all included the wrong items.
In addition to the FUT Birthday Token Swap SBCs being incorrect, FIFA 22 players were also able to pack Prime Icon Moments player items in their Mid/Prime Icon Player Picks, with EA announcing they will be following up with the impacted players. So far, EA Sports has compensated players for the Mid/Prime Icon Player Pick error, and the 83-90 Player Pack SBC error.
