Fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have revealed their top tips to get rid of stubborn bathroom stains and get your toilet bowl gleaming again.
The Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, which has more than 14,000 members, pooled their toilet cleaning knowledge to suggest ways of returning some of the shine without splashing out unduly.
The gauntlet was laid down by a mother who's student daughter is living a way from home for the first time.

"What can you use to clean a stained toilet - daughter's uni house needs attention," she said.
Fellow members took up the challenge - and some of their suggestions are as simple as they are genius.
One intriguing tip involved rummaging through your kitchen cupboard for some vinegar.
"Scoop water out of toilet bowl, pour in two bottles of white vinegar and leave overnight," said the member. "It will come out brand new."
"White vinegar and bicarbonate soda and lemon juice, then disinfect with bleach," was the advice of another.
One member's suggestion came straight out of left field.
"I've used teeth cleaning tablets, the ones you put your dentures in," she said, adding: "It comes up a treat."
Another chipped in with: "Coca Cola!"
Leaving soda crystals or bicarbonate of soda in the toilet were other suggestions, while "two black Harpic tablets and liquid, leave overnight - brush and flush", was another favourite.
For others, nothing beats some regular limescale remover or thick bleach - coupled with some old fashioned elbow grease - to get the job done and your throne room shining like it should.
In the worst-case scenario, the advice of one Mrs Hinch disciple remains an extreme but credible option if you're feeling flush.
"Just replace if you're able to," she said. "I'm sure it will save the headache all around."
