Northdale resident Sharlin Moodley is at his wits’ end after Msunduzi’s failure to deal with its blocked manholes next to his property.

‘All we want is for Msunduzi to clean the drain’

Moodley, who lives in Belfort Road, told The Witness that for the past 20 years his family has been trying to get the municipality to remove the manhole on their driveway, however they eventually accepted that it was there to stay.

He said now all they wanted was for Msunduzi to clean the drain when it gets blocked, because it creates a mess.
